Default polyeurothane mounts??

I just replaced my broken tranny mount with a urothane (Energy Suspension) mount and mann this is harsh!! I feel every vibration and loud as a log truck. Is this normal??? I might switch back to a rubber mount??

Auto or 6-speed? When I put one in when I had an auto I took it right back out, but with my 6-speed it didn't vibrate anymore than stock.

mine vibrates between 100-130 k/h but smooths out considerably after that.

it's a auto. It vibrates the most under acceleration, but as soon as you let off then it's noisy. It's like I bolted it directly to the chassis. I was going to replace the engine mounts also but I don't know now???

I've got poly motor mounts and tranny mount on mine (M6) and it doesn't seem any better or worse than the old rubber ones.

Tried it on both of my 4th gens, ended up taking it off and swapping for a standard LS1 mount.
The ride was too harsh for a DD with a chassis-mounted torque arm; I just replace em as I break em.

The LS1 mount has a bult in travel limiter. I modify them and limit them even more. had them going into the nines no problems and quietly drive home from the track

There's something else wrong if that's happening. I'd say motor mounts too are toast. I put that same mount in my TPI car after the trans mount was obliterated (trans hitting tunnel) and I never experienced anything like that.

Travel limiter and tougher rubber.
Anymore, I think the dealerships only offer the LS1 mount anyhow.
It looks like Advance Auto still sells both.

I too am curious, not that I think I need to replace mine yet. But it looks like trim some metal off? Or was it elongating the bolt holes?

It's a direct replacement. No modification required.

Like I said above, most places don't even bother with LT1 mounts anymore,
the LS1 mount PN replaced it in most parts lists.

FYI, I started a thread on rubber vs poly trans mounts in the auto trans forum, might have some useful info:
