Another drag wheel question
I bought a clean set of 15x7 rear and 14x5 front wheels at a yard sale today hoping they would suffice as a good rim to mount a drag slick but I was not certain. The price was right so I picked them up regardless but I was just wondering if these wheels are useless for the strip or if I can mount enough rubber on the back to stick

It depends on the back spacing. Lay the wheel face down and put a straight edge across it, then measure from the mounting surface to the straight edge. A 15 x 7 is probably going to need a 4.5" backspacing to fit. I don't know if the 14" wheel will clear the brakes.
