taking the stock block and punching it out pretty far. the guy i have build all my engines suggested going to either a 408 or 427. so i figured try the 427 on one block and the 408 with my other lt1 block. no one has ever done it so i figured that i would give it a try. also going with a monoblade style lt1 intake instead of the stock 2 hole style intakes.

Not to hijack the thread but I'm thinking about buying the LT1 intake for my Christmas present, what are you guys doing in place of the stock/dryer vent intake from procharger?

^Procharger has released an upgrade from that dryer vent hose. it's actually made of molded plastic! Do a search, epp had some pics of the revised p1sc kit floating around on here!

You build enough boos tyou'll collaspe the plastic intake too. Go online and find you some industrial strength 4" hose they use for sewage or something & have someone build you a custom 4" inlet hat to work w/ the 4" tubing. Tubing comes w/ coiled wire that is extremly strong. I can stand on their hose and jump up and down and I weigh 160lbs ( not much) but it doesn't bend under my weight.

Ben is running AFR heads, so what he runs for plugs won't apply to you (AFR's take a gasket seat plug where stockers take a tapered seat). If I were you I would run an Autolite 103.

Is that a fact or are you just claiming that? I think there is a ProCharged LT1 w/ a quicker time. I'll have to research it some more though to clarify.

speed deamon 24; the air damn was fabricated by the motor shop that rebuilt my 383 for the blower.

strkt & blown, Pnyhntr is correct, I am running AFR heads so my plugs are very limited to what I can run. Pnyhntr is another one for example that expressed issues with running FI on NGK plugs. I am running Autolites at a .032 gap.

95zpro; I am runnning the same metal inlet tube as SRZ, and it works AWESOME! I ended up gaining about 3#'s of boost just changing from the new ATI plastic inlet hat to the metal fabricated one SRZ showed in his pictures.

I am running the Autolite 3922's, but depending on what heat range better fits the car, you might want to run 3923's. NGK also has a gasketed plug that will work on AFR's, but AGAIN I reccomend staying away from them for FI applications.

call911 or SRZ,
post some more pics of the underside so I can get a better idea of how that elbow is coming off the s/c. I'm having a hard time with my filter almost touching the ground;it scraps on driveways, speed bumps etc.?

This is what it will look like coming off the supercharger.

And this is what it looks like in the car (this is a picture of it in SRZ's car).

I don't have any good pics of it from underneath, but this is the best one I have of the place of my air filter.

There's BARELY any room around the supercharger, so taking good pictures of the setup probably won't get much better than this. Its not much better underneath the car either. My car is currently in its winter storage out of state so I can run and get any more pics for you, but SRZ might have some.
