Default Signs of maladjusted rr's??

Finished my cam swap a couple days ago and developed signs of a miss/popping. Was not a problem at first but now while cruising the car tends to break up. Checked the wires and their fine, but i noticed the valve train was a little noisy. Some of the rr's were a little loose, nothing major just needed another 1/4 turn. I was just wondering if the miss/poppeng sound could be due to the rr's not being tight enough.
-thanks

If in doubt re adjust. Are you 100% sure they are not over or under tightened? I had a hard time hearing rocker noises the louder my car became. It took a while getting used it.

Well i readjusted it and i think its alright. The only problem is that now once it gets over 4-4500 it keeps revvin but the car doesnt seem like its pullin much at all. I think its due to lack of fuel. Probably need a tune.....

if the rpms keep climbin, but the car doesnt go any faster, its not the motor, its usually in the tranny ie. slipping. think about it, how could the motor spin faster but the car not go faster if it was fuel related?

Thats just it, the car just stopped pulling hard. It was still accelerating and the rpms were still rising, just not as hard as it was in the lower rpms. It pretty much fell off up top. And it was pretty rough so got out of it. Im gunna check my plugs to see if i'm runnin too lean.

lol pretty much. Pulled the #1 plug. Instead of the usuall light grey coloration on the tip, it was shinny metal. Guessing that its runnin lean??

put a fuel pressure guage on it, tape it to the front window and monitor. That would be how I would go about diagnosing it.
