Default Found the problem now I need to know part name..

So my car started leaking coolant today, luckily it was a visible and easy to reach spot, I pulled out this broken piece

the piece is located right after a bleeder screw and the line that it connects starts at the front the engine right where the intake connects the manifold

If somebody knows the name of this piece that would be great so I can pick it up at work tomorrow, thanks

What that is, is a coolant flush adapter to fluch ur system, just makes it so you can put a hose on it. you dont need it, but if you want it you can go to an oriellys store and buy the prestone flush kit it comes in there...

all right I just found the kit your talking about, what would I use if I didn't want to replace it with that, a regular piece of coolant hose?

well since it was probaly spliced in the hose w/ the bleader screw ur talking about. That hose has metal crimps so its kinda of hard to replace with bulk hose. I would just go to a parts store and get a splice and use it. Its just a plastic piece with two barbs on each end that eill combine both ends, just use the same clamps and ull be good to go.

lol just go get a splice and get rid of it. Its just a double ended barb, you should be able to find it in the help/motormite section on an oreilly store.
