Ive decided to go with the Comp Cams 280xfi for my 383 LT1 street build per recommendation from comp. They said that it would pull hard from about 1800 rpms all the way to the top just like what i was looking for. Kind of like having your cake and eating it too.

Questions is what springs should i be looking for? Any suggestions?

Comp 130# springs is what I use. Comp should be able to match the right springs for the cam!

haha yeah thanks again king. spoke with comp again.. they told me to go with the 918's. so i guess im set.
