Does anyone know of any company's that make governors for speed to go on a 93-97 LT1 Camaro?

umm why? and i guess you could tune it to where it would cut fuel at a certain speed....but again WHY??? lol

You seem to think you need to install some kind of part. All you need to do is tune it if you want to put a speed governor on.

umm...if he is worried about a kid getting into trouble with a car, capable of what these machines can do, then i think he should buy him a focus.

X2, all you need to do is tell the PCM when you want the car to stop making power, that is it, no more parts to buy or install. most guys want to remove the speed limiter in the program, and those guys bought cars that came from the factory with "H" rated tires, or Formulas.

You can do it easily with a tune, smart idea for some one with a teenage kid.
