94 tail lights... changing to 97-02 quick question

94 tail lights... changing to 97-02 quick question

I know they fit, but is there anything else I will need besides just the tail lights? do the bulbs all match up and everything? I'm getting them for my bf for christmas and just want to make sure I get everything he'll need. Thanks in advance!

Firebird - YES! No mods req'd!
Camaro - yes, but I've heard mods are req'd; don't ask me "what mods" as I drive a 96 FORMULA w/ LS Honeycomb taillights (luv em!)

if u have a ls1 camaro...would u wanna switch to the 93-97 tallights? theyre nicer...

Camaro needs a extra wire ran for the brake lights. The wire harness for 97+ is setup properly, then you need to run a wire from the brake switch to the 97+ harness.

If not then you will have orange brake lights, which with luck won't matter, took almost 3 years before a cop busted my ***** about having improper brake lights.
