i bought a new stall for my trans am.2800 vilganti i can foot brake 2400 on street tires does that sound right

You can't really judge your stall on what you can footbrake to. Flash the converter and see what rpm's it hits at, it will be closer.

at 2400 the tires spin???? or is that all the engine revs too and the brakes can hold it?????

If the tires spin that sounds reasonable.

Stalls very for ALOT of reasons, dont take the # on the advertising as literal, just a around about #.

A bud of mine with a 9 sec n20 402 LS1 with a 5500 stall took his car, put it in gear, line lock on and ebrake trans braked it and got like 5k before it started wanting to move. All cars are different.
