Question???? A friend of mine has a 85 corvette. We saw a 95 TA that is pretty beat up so we stopped and asked if the owner was selling it and he said yes for 500$. It has engine tranny 6sp pedals seats leather t-tops formula hatch. Well besides that I think it is a good deal for 500 my friend wants to buy it. WOULD IT FIT THE corvette i know the engine would but as for the tranny would it be that much of a big deal.

The question is how good is the motor and trans for $500? Also how much money does he want to sink into this car? Is it already a manual? I'm sure there will be lots of electircal conversions, it may be cheaper and easier to rebuild the stock engine. But I'm not a Corvette expert.
