Thats going to depend on the pulse width the current ones are going to run at. Around 400 hp they start to run out. The goal to correct injector sizing is to keep the duty cycle as close to 80% at Wide open throttle as possible. Your tuner should tell you what you need at the time of the dyno. Sizing can also depend on your future mods.

I ran 42lb. injectors when I was running a P600-B and they worked well for me. Are you planning on using the FMU and ATI's in-line booster pump or install an aftermarket fuel pump such as a Walbro 255. I would recommend loosing the FMU, upgrading the fuel pump and running larger injectors (obviously making sure the PCM is tuned for them and the blower). It would also be a good idea to replace your AFPR with one that is boost referenced to help safegard against running lean when applying boost to the motor. Either an intercooler and/or a water/alcohol injection kit will also help prolong the life of your stock motor and will allow you to possibly run a few mor #'s of boost. I ran 10lbs. with an intercooler and a "conservative tune on a stock LT-1 for a while with no issues...although every motor and set-up is different.

I wouldn't spend a lot of money on replacing/upgrading parts on a stock LT-1 when putting boost to it...instead, I would give some serious consideration to building a motor that was designed for forced induction as this stuff is very addicting and it will only be a matter of time.

Walbro255 fuel pump
42lb injectors
Aeromotive boost reference pressure regulator
MSD BTM or 6a BTM
GOOD dyno tune
