Bryan Herter @ PCMforless had my tune dead on from being mail order to "get things running" I gained 3 hp from his mail order to dyno tune. I would say he can get ya pretty close

never dead on huh? like i said i gained 3 hp and that was from him playin with the timing, and my air fuel was a flat line all the way across the board. if thats not "dead on" i dont know what is. never used ION, and im sorry u had a bad expeirence with Bryan, but he goes far above the call of duty with my car, many of my friends cars, and he will be getting more of my business.

Daniel is just upset because I won't give him stuff for next to free and doesn't want to pay for our work. He doesn't mention that mad z was not able to fix his OBD1 high stall problem (we fixed it for him) and on his LS1 transplant we fixed issues that his local tuner could not. Guess it wasn't worth the money as he tried to get a discount on the price every time. Problem is I caved in the first time and he expected it every time afterwards. Then he emailed me later about friends that needed tuning, but could not afford it. I don't know about you guys and your job, but if you went to work for free or even a discount it would be tough to stay in business. You will notice he never has any complaint about the work and had complimented it.

That's really sad. If you can't pay, don't play. And to the OP, get a mail order tune ASAP. Don't hurt the motor.

Definitely get a tune. A mail order should be plenty to get you cruising down the road

And since nobody else has thrown a number out there, I'm going to say you are putting down somewhere in the range of 350-380 to the wheels particularly due to the slightly small cam and another major factor is just how much your heads were ported. I'm guessing since you didn't get it done you couldn't be 100%

Thanks for your input, I believe the guy told me it was a stage 2 port job by Indy Cylinder in Indianapolis. Have you or anyone else heard of these guys and had any experience with them?

I've never heard of them, but if their stage 2 is similar to the Lloyd Elliot stage 2 then I would say you are closer to the 380.
