Default Pacesetter LT Install Pics

Does anyone have any good pics of the Pacesetter LTs on an LT1? I'd like to see some good underneath shots of all this mess before I jump on mine.

I don't have any pics, but as far as fitment is concerned they go right in and have plenty of ground clearance...About 5 or so of my friends have them on their cars..... Be sure to lift the car up really high if your doing it on the ground. Better yet put the back of the car on truck jack stands and raise the front up as high as the jack will go. TRUST ME. And your gonna have to be sure to keep the sterring wheel locked in place and remove the steering shaft to put in the LT's.....Good Luck PM if ya have questions.....

I'd appreciate some pics and whatnot, I really hate running into surprises when doing an install like this. My main concern is what everyone talks about, having to notch the k-member... and the LTs banging the floorpan... Do yall have this problem?

I just installed a set today - I had also just installed new motor mounts and the engine has not settled yet---- I don't know if the interferance was due to this - but I did run into a small amount of interferance on the passenger side floor board right at the header collector weld - I had to drift the floorboard in about 1/8 to 1/4 inch and also bend the factory heat shield in the same place then it cleared no prob. I replaced a set of Edelbrock shorties and overall I am really impressed with the quality of the Pacesetters so far - I was also worried abt ground clearance but they tuck up under the car nicely - I will snap a few pics tomorrow.

So I'm guessing I can't keep my Cat in the stock location, it looks like the y-pipe connects to the I-pipe further back with the LTs....?

Where do ya'll get the muffler clamps used to connect the headers to th y-pipe and the y-pipe to the cat back? I've been searching for them around Tyler and haven't found any.

Do a search on summit's site for "band clamps" and pick the size and type you need.

I just ran into major interferance with the EGR tube and the transmission dipstick - not a little interferance where I could just bend it out of the way - I had to unbolt the tube from the bellhousing and move it out of the way for now - but don't want to leave it unsecured - overall, not very satisfied with the numberous interferance issues.

Can I just make my own O2 extensions? Just insert some more wire?
