Default wierd starting issue

so i still cant figure this out... car sits for long periods of time, it starts fine... no issue... i drive the car around, park it then if i try to go start it like 30 sec later or 10 min later.. it barely starts... like it cranks really slow like it would with a dead battery.. it always starts but barely.. but if it sits for like hour or longer i cranks fine.. i had the alt. tested and it was fine and it has a brand new battery in it.. a cheap one, but still brand new... any thoughts? its basically only when car is hot and been driving.. otherwise its fine...

must be the stater, and if you have long tube headers the heat could of killed it.

check your battery terminals and the bolts holding them. i had the same thing happening and it was a stripped out terminal bolt. it would let it crank here or there but then it would sound like it was cranking slow as you describe most of the time. im not saying that is whats wrong with yours but check if you havent.
