want some fun.....with an lt1
want some fun.....with an lt1 okay, i got a bone stock lt1.. 50,000 miles on it and i'm ready for some mods. i've got some long tubes lined up for it, but i want more... I'd like to do a head/cam combo.... I was thinking about just porting the stock heads.. anyway, I need some advice on what to go with..... oh, and what supporting mods do I need for this? thanks for the help
Ported stock castings are the way to go. There are a ton of porters out there, that have great packages. But there is going to be alot of money being spent especially if ur car is completely stock, and you want all the supporting mods....what i would do is get all ur bolt on stuff first, do more research on head porters, then make a decision. Build the car so it will be able to handle the extra power rather than it letting u stranded.
