Question Best Sounding CatBack for LTs and ORY

I've got an LT1 with a moderate cam, worked heads, LTs and an ORY. Whats the Best Sounding Catback?

I'm probably going to be getting a different catback system, right now I'm running the factory catback with a flowmaster in place of the factory muffler. I've already installed my LTs and ORY and I've yet to start it because I'm sitting here soldering O2 wires and don't want to start it without them.

Do yall think the system I have will sound good or should I look into something else, by the way I'll be installing a DMH E-cutout whenever the F-ing thing arrives...

I'm looking for something that sounds Good, and lets my cam be heard. Just looking for a good mean sounding catback, if its loud its loud, I really don't care about that.

I have a brand new DMH Cutout with a 12 foot harness and the Flowtech cutout still in the UPS box, Any offers for a catback trade? Just throwing that out there...

Cool, I don't want to go with cheap junk, the whole car is done right and I don't want some junk catback under it. I've heard GMMG is awesome but good lord they are high. I need to get to some high speed internet so I can surf ls1sounds and see what I like.

Just looking for oppinions

IMO GMMG sounds decent, but is WAY to overpriced. Buy a loudmouth and swap the muffler w/ a sweet thunder. Since your going DMH cutout, I would buy an catback with and actual muffler, that way you can switch from loud to quiet when u want.....my Corsa if for sale. if your interested, PM me.

I have the best sounding most exotic sounding lt1 ive heard. doesnt have that usual lt1 sound. im running a slp 2otl muffler 3 in pipe with hooker longtubes. im sure the pistons and lt4 valves make it sound a little diff. but ive heard some big cam stock bottom end car that still have that lt1 sound. maybe the slp muffler does it? the only thing I know is ive had 4 lt1s and this is by far my favorite exhaust

SLP 2OTL(two on the left) by far, you will have to hunt up a used one.

Corsa on my old LT1 383, Hotcam, Jet hot LT's and ORY.

Here is the dyno vid.....

http://www.mainstreamtopics.com/~scr...whp%20dyno.WMV

Its a Screamer indeed.

I like it so much I xfer it to my LS1 but I run a Catted Y pipe due to the superior CAT design Dynatech uses but I get even more compliments now on it.

magnaflow is def not a cheap brand... great mellow sound.. but if you want a real good deep throaty sound, i have always loved the sound of a 4inch mufflex system on a cammed LT1... best damn thing i have ever heard...

I have a Flowmaster CB on my 93 T/A and I can't stand the sound. I would go with Magnaflow. On a pretty much stock setup I like the SLP loudmouth and that is what I am putting on my 00 WS6.

If you already have a 2OTL, I would just run that. I really like the way they sound, and almost bought one. But I didn't really care for the appearance, and the guy wanted around 850 for the new system he had.

I just installed Kooks LT's, their offroad Y-Pipe and a GMMG exhaust on my car. I haven't gotten the opportunity to listen to it very much, as my car & I aren't in the same state. What little I did hear, I liked quite a bit.

Magnaflow. The Flowmaster stuff actually sounds good but the 80 series is not a good muffler over all.
