I'd pass on those. But that's just my opinion.

450.00? wow, i did both heads and fogs with sealed beam conversions for less than that. i think i paid like 130.00 a piece for hid's on ebay and like 35.00 for the sealed beams

Yep, the good ol' silver star mod. I saw that years ago and said to myself, if I could do that with silverstars then why couldn't I do it with HID's? 3 and a half years later my Phillips HID's are still in there and perform great. I took it one step farther and put a set in my fog lights too. Car looks completely stock when the lights are off.

I mean honestly if you just want to throw a whole bunch of light all over the road, and could care less about beam quality and oncoming traffic, then those are the lights for you

You have to watch some of these types of lights, I read an article somewhere back about certain type of lighting. This company did test on different types/brands and the conclusion was that yes some were very bright but had no distance or beam area of lighting, another words some were just like spotlights, no coverage. It had pics of different lights with cones/signs and it would show how on some you could see them and some you could not. I would do research before I spent $450.00 !!

That IMO is a subpar setup. Those lights were designed to be supplemental lighting to headlights, they really weren't designed to be used as headlights.

IIRC Mike Turner was still working on the SStreetlight version for the f-cars. That would be the most ideal setup.

yeah they're a one off deal from Mike Turner. They're just like the Sstreetlights he produces for the ImpalaSS/Caprice.

I did a complete swap to mine. I wouldnt change them for anything. Bright as heck. The Black Z is mine. Most people dont like the round lights, so here is another picture with almost stock looking lights.

I find nothing wrong with the round look on the f-car, it's just for someone like me I don't see the reason some of you would do the work for a conversion using subpar modules as headlights. Hella 90mm modules is where it's at
