Lunati cams
Has anyone ever used any of the Lunati cams? I did a search and found 1 person that did and sent him a message, but no responce. The cam im looking into is the Lunati 50156 the specs are
duration @.05 232/242 advertised duration 290/300 w/ a 1.6rr .544/.560 112lsa 108 centerline..
I know its a pretty big cam for a stock bottom end but from the little I understand about cams the tighter LSA will give it a shorter powerband(not as high revving) than say a 114lsa. Im planning on getting my heads lightly ported and polished with my extra financial aid money..im sure more of you have spent your left over financial aid money on your car haha.
If anyone is running this cam post a video or sound clip.

Unless you have the budget to rebuild the motor if it goes (since you are a student), I would seriously think about a smaller cam for a stock bottom end.
No matter what size cam you run though you have to do alot of other work just to be able to run it so you better have a pretty penny saved.

obviously a forged bottom end is better than stock..but i think what hes saying with the 110LSA is he shouldnt have to be revving it to 6700 RPM for the maximum power...

Lunati is a good brand but I think there are some better options out there for you if you do some research...and I do think thats a touch to big for a stocker but to each his own
