**** it, dont stop at solid mounts. Just use motor plates then. Dont puss out bro, all or none!!! hahaha

He said it is a track car - I do not see what the big deal is.

Doesnt sound like its a car he is taking to grandmas for the weekend - if he wants to run solids then go for it.

If he doesnt like them, he can change to poly - not like he would be out a lot of cash - and i bet it would be VERY hard to break a rarely driven iron block from using motor mounts unless he is going for some insane power.

Good solid mounts are lighter and cost $199 at From MADMAN. Not in my car yet but next on the list.

Polys were fine BTW.

Well i just bought a ls1 long block, since im doing the ls1 swap i got to spend money on other **** now lol!
