95 LT1 won't start help me figure this out
My brothers 95 LT1 is going through its death throws lol, one problem after another now this.
The car won't start, you can put the key in turn it to the on position and it does nothing. The fuel pump turns on and the rail pressurizes, the gauges work like normal but the starter won't turn over. We checked the both fuse blocks and both the ing pcm fuse and ign fuse are getting power. The starter is good, had it checked out at napa. So the problem must be inbetween the starter and the wires going up to the fuse block. This is where he is stuck. Anyone care to throw some help our way?
Thanks,
J

is it a 6 speed or a4? If m6 check the clutch pedal switch - this has to be depressed (and working) for the car to start. If an a4 there is a park safety switch (I believe).

Well we found it, it was his stinking alarm, the fuse that we had under the dash blew when he ground something out. Replaced it and now the car starts everytime
Thanks Chris and Joesph
