I made my own for under forty bucks. It took me a little time to get it right, but it turned out pretty nice.

I have the MADMAN bracket. Nice and easy to set up. Makes changing plugs easier also. You can get one @ Speed Inc.

I want to delete my a/c.So does the bottom mount conversiom delete th a/c too?

Yes, it deletes the AC and PS. There are brackets out there that move the PS to the driver side if you want to keep it. There was thread a while back with some good pics.

The Mad Man or SJM leave you with an alternator and crank pulley only. The bracket is slotted to adjust for belt tension.

no A/C
no PS
no cast mounting bracket

basically a race setup, but really cleans up the engine bay

I made my own out of a gen1 alt. bracket i fabbed up to make work. I rev my motor to 7k and never slip or throw a belt......

P.S. All my little rust spots are all gone now!! lol

I used the same bracket that holds the A/C, Alternator and P/S pump and cut it down. Then made two brackets to hold the Alternator in place.

oh and taubr, i talked to you about deleting the powersteering back some time ago, do you have a pic on how you did your lines?

Do you have to take the PS off completely or can i just buy the bracket and bolt the alternator in the place of the ac compressor.

no i dont have any pics. The 2 lines that unbolt from the power steering box..... cut the ends off thoes 2 and loop them.
