i did mine, i didnt use a porportioning valve and mine work perfect. I had to hit my brakes HARD!! a few times and nothing locked up at all and im on slicks and skinnies!! So unless your a baller and want to spend money i wouldnt buy one. And i got all my parts from my local Murrys!

Yea, if you look close enough at my pics you can figure it out. For the rear i cut my OEM line right above the front frame rail and ran a new line from the master to that and flaired both ends and bolted them toghter...done.

Front i got a line lock. Run a new line from the master to the inlet of the line lock, then make another new line from the line lock to the "T" fitting that connects the front 2 lines into the one comming from the line lock. The brake line is super cheap but i had to go to a few auto stores to get all the fittings i needed. All in all its a pretty easy mod if you can work on things.

yea, i wouldnt sweat it. There was a lot of talk about safety but i drive in the city and my area is pretty populated and i needed to slam my brakes a few times and i never had a lock up issue at all.
