Default camaro trans am lt1

is a 97trans am lt1 and a 94camaro lt1 engine block the same? I want to build another engine for my camaro

Yes, the blocks are the same.

The entire car is the same except for a few body panels and minor differences in the interior.

Hey i got the gen 1 block 350, and i was gunna put it back into my rx7 but im lookin for a 94 camaro now. But it has the lt1 and i wasnt sure if theres a conversion bracket for it. Or if it would mount without a conversion...thanks

That last post read a little funky, but I believe you were asking if a gen 1 block bolts right into an LT1 car or if it requires different mounts, or something similar anyway? The bolt pattern on the two blocks is identical. an LT1 is just a slightly reworked SBC.
