am i understanding that you cut the wire 1/4 inch from the connector? if that is the case why cant you take cut the wire that goes on the other side of the connecter bypass the harness connect the two wires and call it a day!!! if i am mistaken and you cut the wire 1/4 from the o2 sensor then your screwed if you cut it near the harness then whats the big deal forget the harness solder the two wires you need to connect and go!!!!

any snap-on truck will have the set, theres 6 tools in the kit...its about $65

i only have about a 1/4 inch of wire to work with so there is no way to splice it thats what im gettin at... and its the wires that go back to the computer its not the o2 sensors wires ...it hard to explain
