New LT1 intake update
So far we have 2 designs were going with. One, we can make the prototype out of sheetmetal. The second is a little discouraging. We called a couple of molding places and they told us there would be a 6-8 month wait to even look at our design and give us a price on a prototype mold.(thats for the lsx style intake) So for right now we will get the sheetmetal prototype started and may need several "ginnie pigs" for testing down the line. Sorry things have been alittle slow coming, We have had 2 restoration projects come in as of late and we havent been able to get much done.

I'm sure you will be bombarded with volunteers, but I'll throw my name in the hat to be a guinnie pig as well. Mine is a stock long block bolt on car that sees more track duty than street driving. I'm sure you will be choosing to test with a variety of set ups.

I can help test. Here's my platform:
396 LT1. GM847 cam. 280cfm heads... maxed out. 39# flow-matched injectors (narrow body EV1). AS&M headers, wideband commander WB O2, Autotap logging, full scan and tuning capable. 48mm or monoblade TB (your choice). Comparison to a fully ported LT1 intake? no sweat.
You need an engine that NEEDS an intake upgrade, has the ability for feedback? I got it.
