Its a good kit but you better be a good fabricator with more than a hacksaw. After the install its a great setup. I've been rinning it for about a year.

You will need someone to fabricate the pipes(cutting, welding etc)and to get it as close to the floorpan as possible for an acceptable ground clearance. If you re in the process of changing the stock torque arm to an aftermarket, get it now and fabricate the exhaust around it. It's alot of work, but worth the effort. Good luck, hope this help.

i dont have any pics but i have done about 7-8 of these. the 2.5" is easy. for some reason the 3" is a little different and you really have to do some adding on to get the front wide enough to match up to the headers.

so should i go with 2.5" or 3", i don't plan on ever going over 350-400hp with this thing so should the 2.5 dual be okay ?

the x-pipe works perfect, not too hard to install. you will probably have to make a couple trips to the exaust shop and get pipes expanded but all in all its a good deal and fits nice. but like ks my ss said with the 3in you have to add a little pipe to get it to match up with the headers I had too on my car.

I went with 3" and glad I didn't listen to everyone who was saying go 2.5". I lost none of my low end. I had a custom job done to my duals. Also that link above is how much power those exhausts will support if theres no bends, mufflers, etc.... so they dont apply

it says the 2.5" is good for up to 500 hp, i don't ever plan on going that high not even on spray so I think I'll gain a little ground clearance and not have to worry about low end loss at all and go with the 2.5, do you guys know if i can get a band clamp that will go from the pacesetter collectors to the 2.5" exhaust pipe ?

you will have to get a 3" inside diamter to 2.5" reducer. jegs makes the best clamps. they are 3" inside to 3" outside diamter. they hold a lot better than the junk u clamps the come with the kit
