I just recently bought a used obd2 motor and i used the new knock sensor that was on it. I have an obd1 setup and am wondering if its going to damage anything?!? i havent noticed any problem with the performance but am wondering what are effects of running this obd2 knock sensor on my obd1 system.

i think you will be just fine. alot of people convert from OBDII to OBDI and replacing the knock sensor isnt required.
