Is a wire change really all that necessary when installing LT headers?

Just like the title states, is it really necessary to change the factory plug wires when installing LT headers? I might as well change the plugs, but I wasn't too sure if I should also change the wires also.

It depends on the design of the header. Headers that drop the tubes off the ports usually need the wires to over the valve covers, headers that bring the tubes towards the rear then dropping usually keep the wires in the stock location.

You do not need to change them but it is a good time to change anything that needs changing because of all the open space with the manifolds out.
