specs of stock LT4 My friend has a 95 trans am with a LT4 under the hood
what is his tq and hp
i dont believe what he is telling me
all he did was put the engine in and left everything internal alone

the only reason he bought the car was because it was an LT4 instead of an LT1
and it runs faster than the LT1 camaro at school
so could i take him with a stock LS1?

id say your ls1 can take him. LT motors make there power down low ls1's up top. id say from a dig or slow roll hell pull you a bit then you should pull past at high speeds. that would be my guess but there are many other factors involved.

well if its a 95 then the motor is not factory they only made LT4s in 96 and 97 and in 96 they only came in m6 vettes and then in 97 only 300 to 350 made there way in to F bodies but a LT4 can keep up with an ls1 car speaking from my experince with my LT4 vette
but look on here they tell you all the upgrades LT4s got over the LT1
