I'm told that I need bigger injectors for my 383 project. The Ford SVOs seem to be the most popular. I would like to get some 36lb injectors, but can only find them in 30 or 42. I've read that on an LS1 the stock fuel pressure is 58lbs and using the Ford SVO 30lb injectors is the same as using 36s. But I think the fuel pressure on an LT1 is around 45lbs so this wouldn't work. Right? Hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction.

Got Lucus 42#s going on mine...little overkill prolly but the inj should be able to operate comfortably without pushing it. It also opens up your options and some fuel to 'grow' into for power adders etc.

30lb injectors will work fine on a 383, u can use the 42 lb injectors like stroked said if you have any future plans for power adders..

ford also makes a 35lb injector, u believe they're brown tops.
