Mount a camera on the dash. I want to see the look on your face, the first time you use the nitrous.

Off the subject but:

David, don't go to No Problem this weekend.

The race got post poned until the 29th through the 2nd due to much rain there and the forcast for the weekend. A friend called me when we were almost to Shreveport to tell me, so we turned around and came back home. Only about $300.00 worth of fuel wasted. Jeanie's friggin' motorhome loves fuel. But, a lot less fuel than if we had gotten all the way down there and found out. Hope I can test before we go back.

Good luck with that baby bottle your getting ready to tie on that poor car.

His elevens were eleven ohs. He needs just a tick over a second, seconds come easy with nitrous.

Spray enough of that crap in a Honda and it will run nines.

Ol' David is going to really ring it's tail this time.

9's shouldn't be a problem at all on a 150 shot....a 100 shot will be cutting it close. I went from an 11.9@114 to a 10.35@129 on a 150 shot--same day both runs. (I have gone 11.4@118 NA but that was with 4.11's and a 26" tall tire--my best with the 3.70's and a 28" tall tire was 11.76@116)

Good Luck,

Good Luck,
HOLY SMOKES a 1.5 seconds on a 150 shot I would crap my pants if I got 1.5 seconds from a 150 shot.....9.50's

What rpm did you go through the traps? I have a 4.11 gear and a 28 inch tire, also have a set of 295/65 drag radials(30 inch tall).

I went through the traps at ~6000rpms. I changed the gearing so I could go with a 250 shot but I kept melting the back plugs due to distribution problems so the most I sprayed for an entitre pass was a 200 shot but I never tuned it in (the 200 shot should put me at 9.9-10.0@133-135 once tuned in). My new combo shouldn't have that issue but it will be a few months before I get the time to finish it up. The only thing I would be worried about with your combo is the trans. That 4L60 will be screaming when you spray it...lol

I never tried the 4.11's with a 28" tall tire but I would say ~6600-6800 depending on converter slip with a trap of 130mph. If you are runnign 124mph now and spray a 150 hit you should be around 136-137mph traps and if your converter slips around 7% then you will be going through the traps at ~7000-7200rpms (more if your verter is loose). I didn't want mine to spin that high so I swapped to the 3.70's before I sprayed. I slowed down .4 tenths NA but the gearing is perfect for my combo on the bottle.

Uhhhh?? I wouldn't be worrying about saving some 50lbs on a seat, but rather how much *** you put in that seat. Id look into some own weight loss, dont think its the car thats needs weight reduction.

FYI smart ***, ANY weight you can take off the car makes it quicker. The car weighs 3460 with no driver.

Furthermore, I am having lapband surgery on the 21st.

Get YOUR car quicker, then come crack on the Fatboy.Until then, get to work on your slow hunk.

Well ya know they are fat people in da world

Hell I am happy with my car, I can drive it all over the place on pumpfuel and run low low 11's.....more than alot of people can say when the car weighs 3750lbs ready to race ALL MOTOR.

Most skinny people cant say that OR have the ability to build their OWN car at home and go run it.

Thank you, drive through.................

David
