Catback and a mailorder performance tune.
About $400 total and should really wake the car up.

Lots of choices out there for both.
I'm rather fond of Hooker's catback

does hookers' cat back system come with dual/dual tips or just two tips? but i also have a dump added after the y pipe so the catback would have to be shortened

Don't bother with a cutout.
I dynoed +3rwhp (cutout open) and -7rwhp (cutout closed) with that mod.
Not ot mention it sounded like *** and I kept breaking e-cutouts due to clearance issues. (car was lowered at the time)
I've since removed it and gone back to a normal 3" I-pipe.

And yes, dual/dual

I've had three Fbodies and tried several catback and custom exhaust systems.
In each case I ended up back with the hooker.
Nothing but compliments on the sound, great flow and no rasp.

I'm not a fan of flowmasters at WOT. (performance or sound)

Here's a clip of my Hooker.

^^ i got rid of my hooker catback for a custom flowmaster setup . of course its a matter of opinion, but there is ABSOLUTELY no comparison to me, flowmaster sounds much better.

+1 for LT's and a tune for power. Personally, I would invest in the other suspension parts (LCA's, panhard, and better springs/shocks). What good is the power if it ain't hittin the ground

I agree with LTs and a tune, although you are going to need more than 400 for that. If you still have the stock exhaust do a catback first.
