Thinking about doing an m6 swap, help inside please... So I spoke with a tuner about my recent RPM trouble. It turns out that it is almost certainly the transmission slipping. The problem here is that I literally just had the damn thing rebuilt like 10K miles ago. I know I could use the search feature for articles related to an m6 swap, but I want to know everything I need in this thread, and roughly how much it will cost. Can I have my current PCM re-tuned for the m6? What about the trans-cooler lines? Disconnect them and somehow plug them up?
What are my options here? I don't want to buy an expensive automatic transmission that is built up. I just want stock stuff. Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated.
