grind welding flash and welds down on pacesetters?

hey guys just got my pacesetter lt's from z28_dad, and i noticed theres some welding flash and welds around the inside of the flange where the header flange is connected to the tubes. the thing is i don't want to weaken them by grinding the welds down, what do you think?

im going to try and post up some pics.

Personally, I probably wouldn't worry about it. If you want to get rid of it I'd use a dremel and a light abrasive bit so it removes material slowly.

the little bit showing will have 0 affect on exhaust flow,the ex. ports on the head are a bit smaller than the hedder tube and flange....

I had brought up some of he welding spatter or buckshot in the tubes when I bought mine. Will it not mess up the coating to tamper with the metal at this point in the game on these?
