Hmmm, I don't have my slip to compare the 1000' mark with me, although I don't think we get 1000' MPH.

You've got about 1 mph on me in the 1/8 there though.

Congrats, I'm not too far behind that big cube stroker though

Thanks

I had trouble a month ago or so getting mine to hook as well, don't feel bad. It was a frigid night at the track and it was like an ice rink.

Ive done a few swaps, you definitely made a lot more work for yourself than necessary! With all the right parts can have everything bolted together and running in a day uninterrupted.

It took me 4 days to go from empty shell 97SS, no interior, no rear/gas tank, no harness, front or rear suspension no nothing to running cam only LS1 trim.

And unfortunately no, i dont think you can keep up with a well put together LSx for equivalent money. I had $400 in a bottom end and camshaft, headers, intake manifold. Cost lot more to make 440 on a Mustang dyno

Slow, the directport should be mostly bolted back togehter today!

I got some QA1's and some other stuff on the way..once we get it biting I can see it in the high 8's..if not faster.

Some guy had a program there and we plugged in the Time Slip..in the 1/4 it would of been around a 11.27 at 125mph with that 1000ft pass above. Once it gets traction it will be nasty..
The way I see it, the timeslip above equates to an 11.91.

7.59 1/8 mile X 1.57=11.91

Once it gets traction you MIGHT run some 11.40's 1/4 mile.@120 mph, most cars on motor pick up 23 ish mph in the back 1/2

Heres proof that JUST because its an LS1 does not mean it is automatically faster.

And, why did you change to an LS1 steering rack? LT1/LS1 racks are the same(physically).
