Unhappy Not sure when i'll have my baby running again..

Ok so before i came to school i started building a LT-1 383 on the side since the motor in the car was getting weak from high mileage... Well looks like plans have changed again.. The 383 is on a huge hold up with being at Wyo-Tech, and i decided to last week that i'm parting out the motor that is in my car right now, but that wont be close to even buying the heads that i want, so i guess this car wont be finished for a while

High mileage?? How many miles are on the motor??

147,000....but the last 48,000 have been pretty rough driving...

I went 198k on the stock internals with the motor never opened...it finally let go and I rebuilt it then....I drove the **** out of mine so you could have had some left in it..sorry to hear that

Yeah i did a cam and a bunch of **** at 138,000 and just always got on it like a dumb *** 19 year old and she let some thing go, i took the intake off and the roller, so far nothing seems to bad so i'm guess the rings took a ****...oh well to late to turn back now lol i sold my heads and long tubes..
