bent a rim

bent a rim well i bent a rim the other day when i hit a huge pothole. it didnt hurt the suspension or the tire but it did put a nice curve in my torque thrust II rim. its only a 16 inch with 205/55, nothing crazy low profile but none the less, its bent. drove it home and all felt fine but its obvious when you look at it.
anyway, i was wondering if anybody knew of a good place to have it fixed near west virginia or surrounding states. i did a search and found plenty of places but nothing near me. i would like to maybe ship tire and all in order to save 2 trips to the local tire shop and the price of mounting and balancing. shipping would be pricey im sure tho.
its not ruined and im sure it can be fixed, but still bums me out for the day. im sure it will eat up at least a 100 dollar bill lol

Discount Tire has several stores in the Columbus,OH area. They were unable to fix the rim I bent but at least they alleged to have the capability.

PS I read a recent thread, somewhere, about cheap shipping via Trailways or Greyhound but there are some restrictions/conditions you'll probably have to work out.

thanks a lot, but i can take it to national tire and battery. itll be 20 dollars plus sittin around for an hour both trips. if it was only 20 dollars more to ship with the tire on the rim and the rim repair shop could mount and balance it for free then i would just send it all to them
ushally tire shops will have rim places they send thier stuff out too. I work for goodyear and we deal with rim places that repair aluminum wheels. local rim shops ushally will not have the tools to do aluminum but will straighten steel. Go to one of the local tire shops by you and see if they have somewhere they can send it out for restraightening.
