Default M6 Shifter *****

I need a shifter **** for my Pro 5.0 shifter. I've looked online at Summit and SLP and the "hurst" style leather ***** look nice but they're black and I have gray/charcoal interior. Does anyone have one of these and are they really black or a dark charcoal?

The MBA billet ones look cool but I've heard they get super hot in the summer and your hand will slide off if you have sweaty or damp hands. Anyone have any other suggestions or know of anyone who has a spare "gray" M6 ****?

Kyle

Just get a white Hurst classic 6speed ****. IMO, they look the best anyways.

What's the thread size? M16 x 1.50mm??

Hurst lists a shift **** for Camaros/Firebirds in this PDF but when I called Summit they couldn't verify if that was the correct thread.

Summit

I do like that handle but no one seems to list them by specific application. They all say universal...

That one's the correct thread. The only problem that I have with it, is that it doesn't say Hurst on the sides. For some reason, you can't get one with Camaro threads that says it on the sides. Only Corvette and Mustang ones do.

Well that kinda sucks but I ordered one anyways! Guess I just had to dig a little harder. Thanks for the info.

Just order a B&M Hammerhead shifter it conforms exactly to the curve of your hand unlike the Hurst ones...

Then you can extend the shifter so it sticks out the t-tops

Yeah it may conform to my hand but I don't like how a "T-handle" feels. I feel more comfortable with *****, especially on manual tranny.

i run a hurst t-handle on my m6, with a 12v switch for the line lock. love it... but it is a comfort thing, mine is turned slightly sideways so it feels a bit more natural. some love it, some hate it.
