Default Hooker Headers
Hey, I am looking at putting Hooker Performance Headers on my 95 Z28. The website I looked at only listed Camaro and Trans Am up to 92, and I do not think those will fit on my LT1, will they? Do any of you know of a good, reputable website to order them off of that I can get them for cheap? Military discount would be nice too, but not nesacarry.

No im 99% sure those will not fit the LT1, they're completely different engines.

They won't fit. Check ws6store.com or LMPerformance. com or ThunderRacing.com. And Pacesetter Longtubes are what I'd go with personally. I think they fit better.

What do you think, besides the fit, is better about Pacesetter? Are they comperable in price? If I were loaded, I would go for kooks.

I personally think that the pacesetters are designed well and as far as fitment they fit very nice and are not as hard to install as the Hookers and other brands. I've heard alot of horror stories about Hookers and thats why I chose PS's- Besides the quality of them. Just my .02 though, but alot of people have them and for good reasons.

long tube hooker super comp coated headers is what you want. thats what i have on my 96 convertible. they fit fine and sound great.but they are $$$$

That's what I say as well. Hooker Super Comp's are the way to go. Fit fine, Sound great, and worth the money IMO...
