people have different tastes of what sounds good....and its usually a bias oppinion of what system they have on their car at the time. im not very old and like my car quite most of the time. if i want it loud, ill just open the cutout. i had the loudmouth on my car, and it was just unbearable and wasnt a good sound IMO. but its just the my opinion. two friends of mine had the dual dual on their firehawks with longtubes and no cats, and they both sound great IMO.....

To each their own, but I haven't heard any good things about the slp dual system on a performance level. I have heard one on an 02 SS car and it had hooker long tubes, and no cats. The car really didn't sound much diffrent from stock. I don't mean the level of the sound, I mean the tone. It seemed very bland, and not very aggressive to me. I think that a stock exhaust with the cats removed sounds almost identicle to an slp dual system. If you just want a muffler the dynomax super turbo sounds really good on all stock cars, and is not very loud. I think they are like 57 or 58 bucks from summit. I just don't think the slp muffler is a good choice. They came as a factory option for the ss cars in 00-02. That's my opinion.
