That's the wrong program. You need the regular program, just "Tuner".

You need to have your cable selector set on "open" The 10k is for older TPI/TBI vehicles if I remember correctly.

Sorry bout that didn't know that i thought the rt tuner was an better version of regular tuner. thanks for all the input.

rt tuner is for the earlier computers to do real time tuning with. you have the right def file correct ($EE)?

ya i talk to the guy at moates and he said that rt tuner would work fine and the guy at cats said the same thing. but he give the the codes for the regular tuner to with no charge. but yes i have the $EE files.

hmm, maybe it just has additional functionality then. should matter i guess then, I just know the realtime part is not for our cars. other than battery, or something wrong with your comp, im out of ideas.

me and you both. i have the car on charge it's got about 11 volts. they guy from cats is checking my software right now i sent him the files. i need to try this setup on another car. o by the way did you tune a guys red T/A not to long ago his name was steve?

it can't be the pcm because a handheld datalogger works.

yeah steve's car was interesting. he had le3 heads or something and the 292 xfi cam. I think he said he just sold his motor though.

and you can try your cable on my car if you want.

ya he told me he had le3heads with gm847 cam. that car sounded good but i dont think it run very well.

yeah he had a few issues with it. first the injectors were bad, then his intake was leaking, then something else. maybe that's why he sold it lol

when i did the tune for him he was running it with 44 lb injectors and that huge cam and all on the stock tune! i was like wtf dude that's a good way to blow up your motor

found the problem i sent the file's back to C.A.T.S and he said it had a corrupted file he sent me the new file and it works fine now.
