Well since you don't have a sig listing your mods (if any), it's hard for us to give any advice. You also didn't tell us how big you went. Another helpful tidbit is what you plan on doing in the near future, so we can tell you things to get now that'll save another upgrade later.

I'm no NOS guy but I'd say change your cap and rotor as well as get a bigger fuel pump (may as well change the fuel filter too), some injectors probably wouldn't hurt if it's a higher mileage motor (Red Top FORD 30#s come on the 4.0 V6s). Retard box wouldn't be too bad of an investment either.

Bare minimum? I'd say the fuel pump.

We need to know a few things about the car before we can really help you. How big of shot do you plan to spray? Is the car an auto or stick? What other mods do you have? Have you checked on getting a FPSS and or window switch?

Is it a wet shot or dry? If dry you will definetly need bigger injectors and a fuel pump.

These are the parts I would want if it was my car:
Base Kit (you have this covered)
Window Switch (safety)
FPSS (safety)
Purge (performance and safety)
Heater (performance)
Pressure Gauge (performance and safety)
NHRA valve and blow down tube (safety)
Spark Plugs, TR6 or equivilant
Timing Retard (multiple options)

Here is a link to the description of each accessory

Please let me know if you have any questions,
Ray

No that is the stock heat range...you want to be one step colder for nitrous use.

Pressure Gauge (performance and safety)
If gauges = performance, no wonder Ricers get the biggest Monster Tach that goes to 10K Rs I'd say that's just categorized as Safety.

Correct pressure will increase performance.
Too low or too high can affect the safety of the kit.

True, but a gauge will only depict the pressure, it won't adjust it for you and thus no performance gain/loss by having it. It's merely a safety device. By your logic, my gas gauge is a performance piece since it tells me how much gas I have left

Thats when you use the bottle heater to adjust your pressure, and using the gauge you can stay in the optimum pressure range for your kit, getting the most hp out of the system. Its not that the gauge itself is a performance adder, its the information it gives and what you do with it.

Exactly, that's why you can't call a gauge a performance add-on. That's my whole point
