I need help! Ok i am redoing my car i am doing a hot cam swap, headers, and a stall. I am going to take my heads off and i am going to get them sand blasted. Once i am done with that do i need to get valve guides, and seats put in or would it be just a good idea the motor has 115,000 miles on it now. What do you think, aslo is there anything else i need to get done to them when they are off of my car?

Yeah thats what i was going to do. But do i need to do new seats, valve guides. do i need all of that. Also if i need to do that, is there anything else that i need to do?
you dont need to if they are not bad, but me personally would. Its not a fun job pulling the heads off so you might as well make it worth your while. I do not think machine shops cost too much to cut new seats or deck the heads. I would get the heads done, but I am a perfectionist.
