Default I need help!

Ok i am redoing my car i am doing a hot cam swap, headers, and a stall. I am going to take my heads off and i am going to get them sand blasted. Once i am done with that do i need to get valve guides, and seats put in or would it be just a good idea the motor has 115,000 miles on it now. What do you think, aslo is there anything else i need to get done to them when they are off of my car?

if your taking the heads off, you might as well bring them to the macince shop and have them re-cut the valve seats, check them, install your hotcam springs and deck the surface so it is perfect. the macince shop cleans them for you. It is pointless to pull the heads and not have at least those things done.

You do not need to replace seats or guides or add guide liners unless problems are found with yours upon inspection.

you dont need to if they are not bad, but me personally would. Its not a fun job pulling the heads off so you might as well make it worth your while. I do not think machine shops cost too much to cut new seats or deck the heads. I would get the heads done, but I am a perfectionist.
