I have went round and round on the CAI vs Ram air debate......it stands to reason that:

The CAI has 2 ninety degree bends and 3 feet of tubing to get into the throttlebody and it is enclosed in the fender, ram air box...straight shot 10 inches of tubing to get to the motor.

The CAI is closer to the pavement where the air is hotter, ram air is in a high pressure area about 3 feet off the pavement, air is much cooler.


Doesnt take a brain surgeon to see the advantage.

Just got my airbox cover in today. This thing is much larger than I thought, but it is a Firehawk lid. Is it necessary that I get a square rubber seal like some of the others have?
