Issue with throttle (hesitant) So, I raced a few buddies of mine today and in the first run I didn't do so bad it was against a 240sx with an SR20 swap . . .he ate me regardless but we went from a 30 and i kept with him in first and second and then third hit and he was gone. . .well my buddy in his stock mustang wanted to run - I had beat him a few days before by 3 cars (he had just bought it) so i wanted to try my luck again. . .i lined up next to him (and occasionally my low coolant light comes on but it doesn't do anything bothersome just happens cars fine coolants full ect) but anyways, we go from a dig and my car just trys to die then throttles back up and trys to die again. . . .i thought to myself "hmm weird. . ." then i tryed to drive it back to park it to the side and it was a little hesitant. So i pulled over popped the hood and checked for leaks onto the opti. . .nothing it smelled looked fine no leaks or drips let it cool down started it back up coolant light turned off and car drove fine. . .
- my buddy told me that his A4 car does that alot and it's just the sensor going out . . . and i never had a problem with it before. . .my check engine light never came on either through all of this - any clue as to what it might be??? It shouldn't have bogged so bad . . .could it be throttle sensor related or what?

I guess the hair dryer to your opti worked a few weeks ago? LOL
Anyway the low coolant sensor would have nothing to do with your problem. You could just unplug it if the light bothers you that much or just replace the sensor. As for the throttle acting up check the TPS as mentioned. Is it acting up only under a load or does it act up while idling too?

sometime under a load it'll start to act up - and only on a rare occasion have i ever recalled it acting up idling - but like i said only about a few weeks into having it back. . .only reason i went to mexico with them is because it was acting normal again. . . .i'll replace the TPS this week and see if that does it - 10 to 1 that's it. you should come down and get yourself a little peice of a few of these cars

there's some fast ones over here. . . Me and my buddy will be heading down there when the track opens back up. Any idea when thats happening? We also need to throw in my nitrous kit before I go messing with all the cars that TSP builds!
haha, my buddy has a tuned nitrious ls1 and beat a fully tuned pulledy exhaust gt500 today on a pretty big shot

oh and the track . . .take whatever date it says on their site - which i think was april and probably add another month or so. . .they where suppose to be laying down the track tommorrow but since the cold front blew through it's gunna set them back a few weeks. . . .and once that stuffs down it'll take some time to get it prepped so we can get traction i'll let yeah know when i think it'll open though. at this time it's kind of up in the air. . .

Is your friend the guy with a black Z28 on nitrous? And did he beat a guy in a black GT500 with the cobra emblem missing on the passenger side? Just wondering because a few weeks ago a bunch of the Lubbock guys came down to Clovis and I hung out with a few of them. Lots of Cobras were here that night along with a couple Camaros and a cammed/exhaust C6.
