Lloyd Elliot or similar head porting price ??
Hey guys now that my car is apart i've been contemplating getting some mild head porting done for my DD/street car . Mods are in my sig.
Basically I was just wondering if you guys had an estimate as to how much it would cost ?
thanks guys.

I was thinking today that I will be going with LE 2 setup this summer most likely. From what I have heard he is one of the best on our lt1 heads and has a great cam to match em.
How much do you guys think an install for those heads and cam would be? I am sure I could not do it. also is there any supporting mods that need to be upgraded too? besides what he mentions on the site. timing chain, valve covers?

LE H/C project shopping list: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2297151/4
Heads, cam, studs, rockers, pushrods, guides, injectors, lifters, head bolts, tune, gaskets, gaskets, more gaskets ....
Timing set is a good idea, and a pack of offset bushings so you can degree the cam properly.
Don't forget to do plugs and wires while it's apart.
EWP and LT Headers are a good idea if you don't already have them.
As for cost, it depends who you have do it.
You can probably bribe a friend with $400-700 to do the job (he better know what he's doing)
A shop will charge you for 20+ hours work at the shop rate. ($70-140)
Stock valve covers will clear most 1.6 rockers without too much modification.
