cruise control?

my cruise control on my 94 z doesnt work it worked before i deleted my air and egr i was wondering if they were connected in some way one gets power from the other?...the shorty headers i had on the car before the long tubes had burned through the wire that runs uo to the tb but does that matter the cable still moved free?

sounds like my 94 it works when it wont's to, but i havn't looked into it yet, sorry cant help but i'm thinking its some thing more alone the lines of the control box itself. good luck

There is a ground over near the coil a lot of people say causes the cruise not to work. I am trying to figure out what is up with mine also. Tired of not having cruise.

You didn't say whether you have an automatic or a 6 speed. There is a switch at the top of the brake pedal arm that senses when you push down. This cuts out the cruise control when you push the brake. The clutch switch works the same way. Check to see if these switches need adjustment or replacement.
