well ive had a problem for a while .. everytime i get on it and it misses out when im at like 6000prm .. really high rpm miss .. im an A4 .. i may be wrong but it always does it and acts like it doesnt wanna shift .. but after missing out a bit it does shift .. could this be opti symptons ? .. i changed it not to long ago .. but i used a shitty opti .. my car isnt throwing any codes .. could my transmission problems be a factor ? .. my tranny is slipping extremely bad .. well give me some of your thoughs

thats what it sounds like to me, i know a ton of fbody cars that bounce off the rev limiter 2-3 times before going into 3rd, mine does it occasionally, my buddies forumula does it every time.

Sounds to me like you have a fuel problem. But then you would probably not be able to get to 6k if there was a lack of delivery. Does it rev all the way to 6k as it normally would?

mine does it to, tranny is fresh, hell i don't know. Mine has gotten worse over the years, now it won't even shift 1-2 at WOT unless i let out.

need to get lt1 edit, maybe that will fix it...

Highly doubt the transmissions slipping up there, my buddies formula has a fresh tranny in it, and i just build mine with tci clutches, tci wide kevlar race band, beast basket, hardened input/out put shafts, dual caged sprag gears and a transgo shift kit, and a billet corvette servo, not to mention the valve bodies been gone through

when it started doing it i thought somthing was wrong with it so i swapped to another one and it did the same thing, so im back to the one i originally went through and put new pins in. Pretty sure its something in the computer as far as a shift window is, im going to hook mine up and see if i cant change it around and fix it.
