But just because a factory designed it dosent always mean something to me. Time and research is what matters to me. The car has been out way longer that the amount of time it took to design all of it. Lots of time for changes/improvments and finding out you dont need certain things anymore. Brad
Air Pump and EGR: Emissions, needed for most states. Air silencers, not needed but it was to keep outside noise down, as with the stock air box.

You need the clips, stop beating a dead horse

And yes, this leads to HUGE amounts of fuel because it's a large leak from the pressurized rails...
How can you be so stubborn and clueless? I just hope no one takes you as an authority and follows suit. Ahhh... this should help:

Like any other stock engine with 1.6 roller rockers. Hotcam springs are crap.

I had holes in my o rings....thats why I leaked fuel. The injectors didnt move at all much less pop out. Drove the car today and guess what. Injectors didnt even move...even though they can be pushed up and down a decent amount. I thought hotcam springs would be pretty nice springs for my b body cam with 1.6's but oh well. I dont care what anyone views me as. I just come here for help and try my best to help others.

Oh and I didnt actaully cross the plug wires. They were already in my wire looms and I just plugged them up. The car hasent run in 3 years because someone built a motor for it and it spun a bearing the first day and he set up the plug wires.
