Default OTVC install??

I've seen a post somewhere about how to properly cut and place the boots on the taylor otvc kit. I've searched but still couldn't find it. Anybody have a link to a page that shows how to cut the ends of the wires and crimp them the proper way? Thanks.

it's not hard...take about an inch of the insulation off so just the core wire is exposed and then fold the wire off to the side and put it in the metal clip and crimp it down then slide the boot on but make sure you use some grease or else the boot will be a major pita to get on. There should be instructions with your wires and they are pretty clear

the wires are supplied w/ dielectric grease.....that works a hell of a lot better than soap detergent.

im pretty sure the grease is meant for the terminals to not get coroded and not to slide the boots on... plus who wants nasty dirty greasy spark plug wires?

you get so much grease that you use it for both...and the grease is inside the boot so you wouldn't have any dirty greasy wire...

no... it's meant for the "inside" not the outside. helps slide the boots on acts as a water repellant, and an anti-seize, have you ever tried to get old *** boots off that don't have dielectric grease? it's nearly impossible to pull it off without ripping the boot off the wire etc etc. and what do you mean by terminals? all the terminals are inside.. did you just contradict yourself dude lol?
ya- use it inside.

Crap, just finally got around to checking out the taylor wire set I bought, guess its just the universal type, cause it doesnt have the same terminals and boots as the ones in the pics. Kit I got was at a local parts store and came with HEI and socket style terminals. Both 90 degree type boots. Anyone know if this will still work?
